Unaffordable health care coverage hurts every Texan:

One in four Texans lacks health insurance.
1.5 million uninsured are children.
More than two-thirds of the uninsured in Texas come from hard-working families that have at least one gainfully employed family member.
Less than half of private businesses offered health care benefits in 2007.
Between 2000 and 2006, family health insurance premiums for employer-based coverage rose five times faster than median family income.
