CareLearning
The Texas Hospital Association has launched CareLearning.com, a comprehensive website featuring courses for healthcare professionals and a learner management system to track enrollment, registration, course completion and test scores. The site was developed in conjunction with more than 40 other state hospital associations and the American Hospital Association. While course content is being added on an ongoing basis, the site currently houses more than 200 courses. Hospitals and healthcare systems can realize the following benefits from this web-based learning site:
- Competency-based course content (many courses feature pre and post-tests to assess knowledge);
- Ease of administration for enrollment and tracking of employees taking and completing courses;
- Reduction in per employee education costs;
- Convenient, on-demand/self-paced education;
